Fancy seeing you here.

I was born in Vancouver, Canada, but I grew up in Beijing, China. I recently graduated from Berklee College of Music and now I currently reside in San Diego.

My philosophy for music is to make it more accessible. My goal in film scoring is to continue the legacy of bringing orchestral music to the masses. The chances of people going to a movie theatre are always higher than a symphony hall. Film combines all facets of creativity (music, visual arts, creative writing, etc.) and I believe that is how all aspects of art can be most enjoyed and celebrated.

I enjoy writing lushful sweeping melodies brought to life by the orchestra or contemporary instrument ensembles. I have had multiple original works premiered across Boston. I take inspiration from composers such as John Barry, Debussy, and John Adams.

I am a composer and songwriter living in San Diego to gain my music therapy board certification. Through music, I have had the privilege of gaining a deep understanding of human psychology and interpersonal relationships.
